May 12th, 2008Bruechert Wins @ Shawano
Brian took to the track at Shawano for the 1st time this season. He took 4th place in his heat race, and came home with a feature victory later that night, his 1st of the 2008 season.
Some adjustments under the hood between Friday and Saturday night were instrumental to the success at Shawano.
Bruechert Racing would like to thank Hot Rod Snellenberger for helping make Friday and Saturday so successful.
May 10th, 20082nd @ Luxemburg
Brian started up front because of his troubles at Luxemburg a couple of weeks ago, and he took the heat race victory just beating out Charlie Kroll.
He also started on the pole for the feature event, and was able to lead the 1st half of the feature before Jamie Colwell got underneath him and took away the lead for good. Brian settled in for a solid 2nd place finish for the evening.
May 7th, 200810th @ Seymour
Brian took charge in his heat race, winning it rather easily to qualify for the night's feature event.
The feature was a struggle, not much movement on a very dry-slick track. Brian would end the night in a 10th place finish.
April 28th, 2008Late Breaking News - Sponsorship Space Becomes Available
The Bruechert Racing Team has just learned that what was supposed to be its biggest sponsor for the 2008 season will not happen. The supposed commitment would have bolstered the Bruechert Racing engine program. Without that commitment and the blown engine the first night, Bruechert Racing will need to pursue other sponsorship for the 2008 season. There will be two large, very visible spaces available. One on the passenger door and one on the driver's door. Both right next to the number.
If you or someone you know would be interested in joining this winning team, please call Brian at 920-388-2587.
April 18th, 2008Engine Trouble Ends Night
Brian shot out quickly towards the front of his heat race on Friday night, but it didn't last long. Some smoke began to come from under the hood, and a few laps later the engine let loose.
A quick end to what looked like a promising night. With the engine trouble, it doesn't look like Brian will make the trip to Shawano, whether the show happens or not.
March 20th, 2008Bruechert Racing teams up with Ribbon of Hope
This season Bruechert Racing is being given the opportunity to team up with the Ribbon of Hope Foundation to help support local families dealing with breast cancer.
Bruechert's "dare to go pink" attitude brought the challenge to Victory Sign for the 2007 season and to no ones surprise the designs of the team at Victory Sign wowed the crowd with the splash of pink throughout Bruechert's car. The flashy Terminator Chassis definitely drew the attention of the people which led him to win Woody's Hot Shot car of the month for October 2007 and the final award, IMCA's Best Appearing Car of 2007. Brian was very honored to achieve these awards as he spent an exceptional amount of time perfecting the look and mechanics of his Terminator Chassis to bring the Bruechert Racing Team to a whole new level.
Towards the end of the 2007 season Bruechert started thinking the attention his pink machine was getting could be used for a better cause. "This gives our team the chance to use our sport to help make a difference in someone's life. We wanted to use all this attention the car brought as a way to do some good for other people". So crew member Terry Herlache gave Bruechert a brochure on the Ribbon of Hope Foundation. Bruechert contacted the Foundation and they were immediately intrigued and wanted to be a part of this new opportunity.
The Ribbon of Hope Foundation sets out to help Brown and Kewaunee County families dealing with breast cancer. Funds that the Foundation raises goes to support those local families. What an awesome cause to support Bruechert thought.
The goal in teaming up the Bruechert Racing scene is to bring the Ribbon of Hope Foundation to a whole new genre, giving them an outstanding realm of new and eager support.
Watch for the "Flying Pig" logo with the Ribbon of Hope Foundation for your chance to support these local families dealing with breast cancer.
Make a difference with Bruechert Racing and DARE TO GO PINK !!
